Our Activities
The following are some of the activities of Idara that continues throughout the year, so in which members can participate at any time for the sawab-daren for themselves or their loved ones:
Aid for Gaza
Our Palestinian brothers and sisters are facing genocide in the hands of Israel and those who have survived are suffering from hunger, lack of medicines, clothing and shelter etc. SG is humbled to have so far dispatched many consignments containing, food, medicines, blankets and much more in collaboration of Syed Foundation & Al-Khidmat Foundation to reduce the suffering of our Muslim brethren. This is an ongoing activity for which members are encouraged o donate as much as they can to please Allah
Food & Grocery Support
In countries like Pakistan, millions of families struggle each day to put food on the table. At Idara Sadaat-e-Gulaothi (SG), we believe that access to basic nutrition is not a privilege, but a right. Hunger affects health, concentration, dignity, and ultimately, hope.
To combat this, SG runs a monthly food and grocery distribution program that reaches low-income families, widows, orphans, and the elderly. Our aim is simple: no one in our community should suffer the indignity of hunger.
Our Food Distribution Program Includes but not limited to distribution of “grocery vouchers” in collaboration with “Chase” departmental store monthly basis out of zakat funds to help the needy outside the Sadaat community to help them buy the essentials items of ration like rice, wheat flour, pulses, oil, tea, sugar, and spices etc.
Installation of Water Pumps
Availability of clean drinking water is a major issue in Pakistan especially in low-income areas of large cities and small villages & towns located in the interior areas of Pakistan.
In order to address this issue SG has started a project in collaboration with Alamgir International Welfare Trust to install water pumps to start with in the villages of Sindh province.
So far —— such pumps have been installed sponsored by the members of the SG in the memory of their loved ones who have passed away as Sadaq-e-Jaria for them.
Sadaqa (Sacrifice of Animals)
For the convenience & benefit of its members, SG arranges for sacrifice of animals as Sadaqa (a voluntary act of kindness to please Allah) on behalf of its members throughout the year. Hence, members can avail this facility at any time they want..
Distribution of Zakat & Sadaqa
SG also collects cash against zakat (a mandatory obligation of each Muslim who has wealth above certain threshold) and Sadaqa (a voluntary act of charity to please Allah) throughout the year and distributes it to the poor and needy outside the community of Sadaat to help them meet their needs.
