Our Goals

  • To strengthen family bonding among the members of the Idara by organizing social events.
  • To build a culture of mutual support, volunteerism, and community-driven development.
  • To ensure children and adults, especially girls, have access to quality, inclusive, and affordable education and literacy opportunities.
  • To provide basic healthcare services, awareness, and support to improve physical and mental well-being.
  • To encourage youngsters to participate in sports to enhance their physical well-being.
  • To create livelihood opportunities through skills training, job placement assistance, and entrepreneurship support.
  • To ensure no one goes hungry by providing food assistance and nutritional support.
  • To provide emergency financial assistance to underprivileged individuals and families in matters such as marriage, burial of their loved ones, medicines, books & stationery.
  • To provide relief and rehabilitation services to the affected people during natural calamities.
  • To install water pumps for the provision of clean drinking water in areas where it lacks, especially far-flung villages.
  • To initiate any other social services programs as may be required by various groups of individuals within the community or the society as a whole.
  • To act as a responsible organization with regards to preservation of environment.
  • To continuously expand the depth and breadth of Idara’s programs, ensuring they evolve with the changing needs of society and emerging challenges.
  • To collaborate with like-minded organizations & donors.
  • To ensure all interactions and services reflect respect, compassion, and the inherent dignity of every person.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To renew Idara’s registration as per the prevailing laws and regulations within two years from the date the new managing committee takes oath.
  • To develop detailed policies & procedures of the Idara to ensure transparency in decisions taken and improve governance in general. 
  • To establish sub-committees consisting of members of the managing committee and general members to oversight various programs of the Idara and ensure inclusivity.
  • To establish area-wise committees in Karachi to recommend and implement social events and programs for their respective area to increase members’ participation in Idara’s activities. 
  • To run donation collection drives targeting local and overseas members of the Idara as well as non-members utilizing members’ network to fund Idara’s various programs. 
  • To establish separate funds for each program category. 
  • To organize events with special focus on overseas members to increase their participation in the activities of the Idara. 
  • To establish need-cum-merit based scholarship programs for various levels of studies. 
  • To streamline the process of awarding achievement awards. 
  • To introduce a separate category of sports achievement award. 
  • To start career counseling services for students at the early stage of their education to help them make better career choices. 
  • To introduce/support adult education programs to increase literacy of overall population. 
  • To conduct special courses focusing for youngsters as well as adults on character building. 
  • To conduct vocational training programs like tailoring, crafts & IT. 
  • To offer microfinance or small grants for self-employment.
