Others Programs
SG also runs various miscellaneous programs for the benefit and convenience of its members as well as for the wider society as follows:
Water Pumps
Availability of clean drinking water is a major issue in Pakistan especially in low-income areas of large cities and small villages & towns located in the interior areas of Pakistan.
In order to address this issue SG has started a project in collaboration with Alamgir International Welfare Trust to install water pumps in to start with in the villages of Sindh province.
So far —— such pumps have been installed sponsored by the members of the SG in the memory of their loved ones who have passed away as Sadaq-e-Jaria for them.
Tree Plantation
At Idara Sadaat-e-Gulaothi (SG), we recognize that the well-being of our society is deeply tied to the health of our environment. As part of our mission to build a sustainable future, SG regularly organizes tree plantation drives and awareness campaigns to promote ecological responsibility within our communities.
Through these efforts, we aim to combat climate change, improve air quality, restore biodiversity, and instill a sense of environmental duty, especially among the youth.
Our key initiatives in this regard are tree plantation drives, environmental awareness campaigns, and community engagement.
Qurbani & Sadaqa
For the convenience & benefit of its members, SG arranges for collective Qurbani (a religious ritual of sacrificing animals) every year on the occasion of Eid-ul-Edha. Apart from convenience, it helps members to have qurbani at reduced prices due to bulk purchases of animals by SG on behalf of its members.
Additionally, SG arranges for sacrifice of animals as Sadaqa (a voluntary act of kindness to please Allah) on behalf of its members throughout the year  to make it convenient for them.
Distribution of Zakat & Sadaqa
SG also collects cash against zakat (a mandatory obligation of each Muslim who has wealth above certain threshold) and Sadaqa (a voluntary act of charity to please Allah) throughout the year especially during the month of Ramadan and distributes it to the poor and needy outside the community of Sadaat to help them meet their needs.
